TV Legend Passes Away At 89

Elizabeth Hubbard was a famous TV actress who played unforgettable roles like Lucinda Walsh on “As the World Turns” and Dr. Althea Davis on “The Doctors.” She was amazing in these roles and people loved watching her for many years.

Sadly, her son, Jeremy Bennett, shared very sad news on Monday, April 10, 2023. He posted on Facebook with a picture of his mom wearing a beautiful red dress. He said, “I’m sorry to say with a broken heart mi mum passed over the weekend. Thank you for being an unmovable rock that guided me through life. I will try to honor your memory for as long as I live.” Elizabeth Hubbard passed away at 89 years old, but she didn’t say why she died. She leaves behind a lot of fans and a big mark on TV shows that will be remembered forever.

On the same day, Martha Byrne, who played Elizabeth Hubbard’s TV daughter, talked about how much Hubbard meant to her and to all her fans. She said, “Elizabeth Hubbard passed away,” and talked about how special Hubbard was to her, not just as an actress but like family. She said it’s hard to find the right words to say how much Hubbard meant because it’s more about the feelings of love that are too big for words.

Elizabeth Hubbard was really good at acting and got 11 Emmy nominations throughout her career. She won an Emmy in 1974 for playing Dr. Althea Davis and another one in 1967 for a role in “First Ladies Diaries: Edith Wilson.” People everywhere loved her because she made her characters seem real and honest.

Even though Elizabeth Hubbard is no longer with us, her work on TV made a big impact and will inspire many more actors in the future. She was a star who will always be remembered in the world of TV.

Elizabeth Hubbard’s son, Jeremy Bennett, is her family who remembers her. We hope she rests in peace, always remembered and loved by those who enjoyed her work.
