Teens Captured On Video As They Grab Crying Woman’s Hand In Prayer

Losing a loved one is not going to be easy. It’s an ongoing process of grieving and acceptance. And that journey will be painful and difficult to overcome.

That is why when these young employees of a coffee shop learned that one of their regular customers recently lost her husband, they went above and beyond to support her. But what they didn’t know is that they were being filmed by a stranger.

Teenagers have always had a bad reputation for being careless and selfish. But this heartwarming moment will surely change the way you look at these young adults. In fact, they should be considered as a good example for other teens out there.

This incident happened at a drive-through coffee shop chain in Vancouver. As the young employees were serving their customers, they want to be quick and efficient as much as possible. The line had formed outside and they do not want their customers to wait for a long time. However, they noticed that the next customer to serve was obviously distraught.

And the moment she drove up to the window, one of the servers, Evan Freeman who was assigned to handle over orders, asked her what’s wrong. He said, “And she was like no, she’s just having a really bad day. Her husband passed, and as soon as she said that, I was like there’s nothing more you need to say. We got this. We’re gonna do what we do every time we get someone who’s in pain or hurt. We’re gonna give them our love.”

Freeman handed over her coffee but he knew that he needed to do more to make her feel a little bit better. So Freeman and two of his colleagues leaned out of the window to hold hands with her. What happened next will surely touch your heart.

As they were holding on to her, they all prayed for the woman and her husband who recently passed away. Aside from Freeman, Pierce Dunn was one of the employees who joined in praying for the woman. He told the woman that he wished that she would find peace over her situation.

These teenagers did this simply because they wanted to help this woman who had been their regular customer at the coffee shop. They wanted her to feel much better even though nothing can really remove the pain from her heart as she is still learning to accept the loss of her husband. But they knew that what she needed was something more powerful, a prayer.

While doing this, they were not aware that the next customer in line was watching them. She was deeply touched by the teenagers’ actions so she took a photo of this touching moment and posted it online. And it didn’t take long for the post to go viral.

In fact, the photo became so popular that it reached Jessica Chudek, the manager of the said coffee shop. At first, she didn’t recognize that it was her employees. But when she did, she felt proud of them. She had taught her employees to show respect and to care for their customers. But she never imagined that these teens would go this far to show how they care. And she admitted that she was brought to tears by what they did for their customer.
