If you are ‘in the know’ when it comes to the life of Hollywood celebrities, then you must already be aware that there is a long list of celebrity kids who are perfect clones of their famous parents.
We have Chrissy Teigen’s, Luna, who looks exactly like her dad when he was just a baby. Reese Witherspoon’s daughter also looks so much like her that it’s like you are looking at twins every time they are spotted together. More and more people are aware of this common occurrence and we can’t help but compare them to their mom or dad.
Christopher Reeve’s 25-year-old son, Will, is definitely his dad’s living legacy!
Christopher Reeves, whom we know as “Superman,” had two children with Gae Exton. He also had a son with Dana Morosini and he is a splitting image of Reeves when he was his age. Will tried to remain out of the spotlight for years and just focused on his education and started to build a career in the sports news industry.
But recently, he made a public appearance that left everyone in awe!
Christopher Reeves was an actor, a film director, screenwriter, producer, equestrian, and an activist. But aside from all that, we all know him for his handsome role. He rose to stardom in 1978 when he played Superman: The Movie. This was one of his first professional acting roles. He won BAFTAs award for the Most Promising Male Newcomer the following year.
He also was the star in three more sequels – Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983), and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987).
Aside from playing the handsome superhero, he also appeared in movies like, ‘The Bostonians’, and ‘The Remains of the Day.’
His flourishing instantly ended in 1995 when he became a quadriplegic after he was thrown from a horse during an equestrian competition. He was only 42 years old at that time and a father of three. He remained in a wheelchair and needed a portable ventilator for the remainder of his life.
During this trying times, his wife Dana (Will’s mother), has always been on his side. They focused more on activism from then on. Both of them founded the Christopher Reeve Foundation which is now called the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. They also co-founded the Reeve-Irvine Research Center who is supporting spinal injury victims and also for stem cell research.
In 2004, Christopher Reeves passed away at age 52. Dana also passed away from lung cancer two years later, leaving Will on his own.
After his parents passed away, Will was still a minor so he lived with one of Dana’s childhood friends. Will is now 25 years old, all grown-up, and people can’t help but notice that he shares his dad’s chiseled good looks. They sure don’t look like twins, but this young man has the same prominent features – that sharp jawline!
On November 6, 2017, Will attended a fundraising gala, “A Magical Evening,” an event for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. During this event, he undoubtedly looked like his dad! In a photo, he was posing on the red carpet next to his half-siblings, Matthew and Alexandra.
Will Reeves is successful in his chosen career, but he will always be The Superman’s son.
