Bindi Irwin, the 25-year-old conservationist, recently underwent transformative surgery for endometriosis, a reproductive condition she struggled with for over a decade. This condition causes uterine tissue to develop outside the uterus. Now post-surgery, Bindi, who is a mother to two-year-old Grace with her spouse Chandler Powell, feels she has a renewed outlook on life as she juggles her duties at her family’s zoo and embraces motherhood.
She shared with Fox News Digital, “Following a decade of silently grappling with endometriosis, the intensity of the symptoms grew with each week. Just prior to the surgery, it had become a challenge for me to even rise from bed. However, post-surgery, I find joy in daily strolls at the zoo with my loved ones, attending our zoo management meetings, tending to our animals, filming, and spending quality moments with my daughter. My life feels renewed, as if I’ve been granted a fresh start.”
Bindi, known for her role in ‘Crikey! It’s the Irwins’, is the beloved daughter of the iconic Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin and his wife, Terri. She revealed in August that she was hesitant to open up about her health journey, but she felt a sense of duty to potentially assist other women by sharing her experiences.
