Natalie Yates-Bolton, a grandmother, has beaten cancer five times and is now celebrating by taking on hard exercise challenges. She’s happy because doctors told her she doesn’t have cancer anymore, after fighting it for 35 years.

Natalie fought Hodgkin’s lymphoma twice and also battled breast cancer three times.

She’s had to go through a lot to get better. Natalie, who is 57 years old, has had 11 surgeries, been through 30 rounds of chemotherapy, and had 55 treatments with a special kind of healing light called radiotherapy.

Natalie teaches nursing at the University of Salford. She’s been taking a special medicine named palbociclib (Ibrance) for a few years, and it has really helped her. Finally, she got the amazing news that she’s free from cancer.

Even though fighting cancer was really hard, Natalie never stopped wanting to enjoy every moment of her life. Now, she’s making new goals for herself in exercise to stay strong and happy.
