Coca-Cola Announces New Permanent Flavor (People are grossed out)

Coca-Cola Spiced is hitting the stores this Monday, and it’s the newest flavor to join Coca-Cola’s lineup that’s here to stay. This drink mixes the classic Coke taste with raspberry and special spice flavors. You can find it in both the regular version and a Zero Sugar option.

In Pennsylvania, there’s a hint that if you drive less than 50 miles a day, you might not need your car insurance anymore. Meanwhile, celebrities Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are getting ready to launch their own brand of pre-made gin and juice drinks.

Shakir Moin, who’s in charge of Coca-Cola’s marketing in North America, mentioned that this new drink is part of Coca-Cola’s effort to appeal to younger drinkers. He pointed out that people are enjoying spicier foods more than before, and Coca-Cola saw this as a chance to introduce something new.

Coca-Cola Spiced was first introduced to the world during a live online event on February 6, 2024, in New York. The company has been pretty quiet about what specific spices are in the drink, but they’ve shared that it includes a twist on the original Coke flavor with added raspberry and spice notes.

For those worried about the drink being too spicy, early taste tests suggest the spice level is quite mild, with some people saying it reminds them of a soda you might drink around the holidays. In the past, Coca-Cola has come out with special flavors for the holiday season, like Coca-Cola Cinnamon or Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry.

Coca-Cola Spiced is the latest flavor that Coca-Cola has decided to keep around for good in North America. Before this, the newest permanent flavor was Cherry Vanilla Coke, introduced in 2020. Coca-Cola also makes limited-time flavors, like the recently released Happy Tears, which mixes the classic Coke taste with a hint of salt and peach, available only for a short period starting February 17, through TikTok Shop.
