Cat treks 12 miles back to the family who tossed him out but they ‘don’t want him anymore’

Doug

Toby’s adventure shows how strong and loyal he is. Even after his family let him go, he didn’t give up. He traveled 12 miles to get back to them because he missed them so much.

But when he got there, his family didn’t welcome him. Instead, they took him to a place and asked for him to be put to sleep. That’s really sad, isn’t it? Tara Lynn from the SPCA said it broke her heart to see Toby come all that way just to be turned away.Lucky for Toby, the place he was taken to didn’t agree to put him to sleep. They called the SPCA, who came to rescue him right away. They checked Toby’s health, which was important because he was sick with a cat virus and had a cold. The SPCA took good care of him, even though it took a while for him to get better. At first, Toby was shy around other cats at the SPCA. But soon, he became a favorite because he was so friendly and loving. When it was time for Toby to find a new home, his story was shared online, and many people wanted to adopt him. Michele Puckett from Raleigh saw his story and felt she had to meet him. It was a perfect fit. Now, Toby lives happily with Michele, two other humans, and two cat friends. Michele says Toby is very sweet and loves to cuddle, especially in their bed. He acts like he’s always been a part of their family.Michele hopes Toby’s story helps people see how important it is to give pets a second chance. She wants more people to adopt pets who need homes. Toby’s story has touched many people’s hearts around the world, showing how wonderful it is to give animals a loving home.
